5th edition of the InterCIDEC Awards

This year, at Beltá & Frajumarwe are presenting our5th edition of the InterCIDEC Interior Design Awards, focusing on the design, creation and development of interior design of a holiday flat, environmentally sustainable. Entry is free of charge, and proposals can be submitted until 30 September.

Our aim with theInterCIDEC Awardsis none other than to connect architecture and interior design professionals with hotel and tourism companies to bring their projects to life, whilst offering hotels and tourism entrepreneurs innovative interior design proposals based on research and the needs of the users of these establishments.

Furthermore, we aim to address the needs arising from social distancing and the hygiene measures brought about by COVID-19, which in turn have resulted in this unique format for the presentation of the fifth edition by Francisco Juan, CEO ofBeltá & Frajumar, and Marta Palao, head ofInterCIDEC:

So, as the video explains, the theme of this fifth edition will be the design and development of the interior of a sustainable holiday flat, with two new prizes being introduced this year: one for the category “Genesis”, intended for new projects designed and submitted to the competition, with a prize of 3,000 euros; and another for the category “Completed works”, intended for projects that have already been completed, with a further 3,000 euros earmarked for media promotion, thereby increasing the total prize money to 6,000 euros.

Established in 2016,InterCIDECis also a creative opportunity and for the creation of synergies between companies and participants by offering the opportunity to turn these new projects in the field of design into actual contracts, which may be be manufactured and installed in the new spaces mentioned, something which means they would receive the relevant economic benefits. Or alternatively through the promotion of which they may benefit the winners of the category of works produced.

Beltá & Frajumar presents its 5th edition of the InterCIDEC Interior Design Awards

The winners will be chosen by an independent jury, made up of prestigious professionals related to architecture, interior design, decoration and design, the media, Official Associations of Architects and Interior Designers, and hotel companies, who will evaluate the proposals, innovation, aesthetic value and accessibility. In addition to the two prizes, runners-up prizes may also be awarded as the Jury deems appropriate; these are non-financial prizes.
