ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Designed by D.E. Gagliardini, ERGA is a contemporary sofa inspired by the essence of the classic sofa a12> reinterpreted from a more light and architectural aesthetic. Its design combines lines that are soft, proportions balanced and a structure visually elevated which provides a sense of lightness and sophistication.
The comfort of the collection stems from the combination of a firm structure and enveloping pillows from a9> firm structure and cushions that envelop you with great softness, creating a cosy and relaxed experience. The removable armrests and the cushions with removable covers also provide additional functionality and ease of maintenance in both settings residential and hospitality.
The open side panels and the angle of the backrest reinforce a perception contemporary and more dynamic, allowing the integration of ERGA into interior design projects where the balance between comfort, design and visual lightness is fundamental.

Design
Sofa contemporary in a classical inspiration with lines that are soft and a structure that is visually lightweight. Its legs raised and open arms contribute to an elegant and contemporary look.
Comfort
The combination of HR foam, pillows made of microfibre with a feather-like feel and backrest wraparound backrest provides a comfortable and relaxed seating experience.
Applications
Suitable for homes in a contemporary style, hotels, suites, lounge areas and hospitality projects that seek an elegant and comfortable piece with a light aesthetic.

Materials
1. Structure
Frame of seat made entirely from pine selected planed, with suspension provided by elastic straps measuring 80 mm covered with foam made of polyurethane with a density of 30 kg/m³.
2. Seat
Seat cushions made from 35 kg/m³ HR foam with an inner cotton lining and a filling comprising 60% synthetic down and 40% siliconised polyester fibre.
3. Backup
Back cushions featuring an inner cover divided into multiple compartments and a microfibre filling comprising 60% synthetic down-like fibre and 40% siliconised polyester fibre.
4. Base
Legs metal P-117 in wood made of ash and options P-115 and P-111 in chrome-plated metal, nickel black or black metal. P-79 in stainless steel.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Solid wood construction: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or aggressive chemicals.
Upholstery: for technical fabrics and removable covers, machine wash at 30°C. For natural or special fabrics, professional cleaning is recommended. More details on the following link.
Cushions: turn, hollow out and smooth regularly to maintain the original volume and shape.
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight to preserve colours and textures.

Darío Gagliardini
Designer
Dario Gagliardini, born in Milan. PhD in architecture from the Polytechnic University of the same city. Registered architect, a position that allows him to experience some significant projects for the hotel company CIGA and Catterpillar Italia. He is dedicated to designing products and their communication as a visual designer and art director, expanding his contribution to some companies as a design manager. At the same time, as a journalist, he collaborates as a graphic designer and art director with prestigious design and architecture magazines such as Ottagono and all those published by Design Diffusion Edizioni (ddn, Ofx, Design Management, Casa D, etc.).
In addition to being the cultural director of the architecture magazine Riabita, published by Rima Editrice, he is the editor and director of the magazines Style and Places published by Fiera Milano Editore. The experience gained as a professor in the Master in Design Management at the Polytechnic of Milan allows him to continue as a lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Industrial Design course at the Polytechnic of Milan. These positions do not prevent him from continuing to design successful products.
