ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Designed by Jorge Pensi, MARC is a collection characterised by formal clarity, elegance and a rationality in its aesthetics which enables it to blend in naturally into a wide range of spaces and styles of interior design. Its proportions balanced and its lines clean make every piece into a object contemporary with a discreet presence yet highly recognisable.
The collection stands out for its ability to combine understated elegance with character within a timeless aesthetic. The clean lines of its forms and the balance between the seat, backrest and frame mean that MARC works equally well in both residential and hospitality settings, creating a sophisticated look that is easy to style.
The range comprises various configurations—armchairs, chairs and sofas—alongside two types of base that subtly alter the visual perception of the collection: a lightweight metal frame or a warmer, more architectural wooden base.

The combination of high-resilience HR foam and ultra-soft fillings provides a comfortable, even and balanced sitting experience.

Materials and construction
Internal wooden frame covered with 40 kg/m³ HR foam, with suspension provided by highly durable elastic straps.
The seat features 30 kg/m³ HR foam with a soft 35 kg/m³ layer, covered with a 150 g heat-sealed silicone-coated fabric cover to enhance comfort and visual appeal.
The backrest is made from 25 kg/m³ HR foam with an extra-soft layer to create a more cosy and enveloping feel.
The collection supports two configurations of the base:

The MARC collection offers a range of base configurations, upholstery options and decorative details to suit both residential and contemporary hospitality projects. We can also produce pieces using the customer’s own fabric.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Solid wood construction: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or aggressive chemicals.
Upholstery: for technical fabrics and removable covers, machine wash at 30°C. For natural or special fabrics, professional cleaning is recommended. More details on the following link.
Cushions: turn, hollow out and smooth regularly to maintain the original volume and shape.
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight to preserve colours and textures.

Pensi Design Studio
Designer
Jorge Pensi, an Argentine architect and industrial designer, moved to Spain and adopted Spanish nationality, settling in Barcelona. He began his career with the Berenguer Group, collaborating with Alberto Liévore until 1984. In that year, he founded his own studio in Barcelona, specializing in furniture design, lighting, and event setups. His design team includes Diego Slemenson, Constanze Schütz, and Roman Proubasta, with Toni Casares managing the studio.
Pensi has worked with a wide range of companies, including Akaba, Andreu World, B.Lux, Santa & Cole, Cassina, Driade, and Knoll International. His focus is on creating innovative and functional pieces that reflect a modern and timeless aesthetic. With a distinguished career in furniture and lighting design, Pensi has made a distinctive mark in the contemporary design industry.
