ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Designed by Lluís Codina, PAO is a collection conceived with a focus on simplicity, elegance and functionality. Its compact and lightweight design conveys a timeless aesthetic timeless capable of blending effortlessly into spaces contemporary, both residential and commercial.
The collection stands out for its balance between restrained proportions and a depth of the seat which is particularly comfortable. Its lines soft and enveloping create a feeling cosy and relaxed without losing visual lightness, whilst the structure metal integrated provides stability and a refined presence.
Inspired by the lifestyle of an international character of its designer, PAO combines comfort, simplicity and sophistication in a piece that is versatile and elegant, suitable for a wide range of styles of contemporary interior design.

Materials
1. Structure
The main structure consists of laser-cut curved metal rods and plates, mounted on a frame made of solid brushed pine.
2. Seat and backrest
Seat unit integrated into the frame, featuring firm foam with a density of 30 kg/m³. The entire interior is covered with 300 g/m² siliconised fibre backed by extra-soft microfibre.
3. Base
Legs made from solid ash, offering excellent stability and structural strength.

The PAO collection offers a range of finishes for wood and options for upholstery to suit both residential projects and contemporary contract work. Option to manufacture using fabric supplied by the customer.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Solid wood construction: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or aggressive chemicals.
Upholstery: for technical fabrics and removable covers, machine wash at 30°C. For natural or special fabrics, professional cleaning is recommended. More details on the following link.
Cushions: turn, hollow out and smooth regularly to maintain the original volume and shape.
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight to preserve colours and textures.

Darío Gagliardini
Designer
Dario Gagliardini, born in Milan. PhD in architecture from the Polytechnic University of the same city. Registered architect, a position that allows him to experience some significant projects for the hotel company CIGA and Catterpillar Italia. He is dedicated to designing products and their communication as a visual designer and art director, expanding his contribution to some companies as a design manager. At the same time, as a journalist, he collaborates as a graphic designer and art director with prestigious design and architecture magazines such as Ottagono and all those published by Design Diffusion Edizioni (ddn, Ofx, Design Management, Casa D, etc.).
In addition to being the cultural director of the architecture magazine Riabita, published by Rima Editrice, he is the editor and director of the magazines Style and Places published by Fiera Milano Editore. The experience gained as a professor in the Master in Design Management at the Polytechnic of Milan allows him to continue as a lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Industrial Design course at the Polytechnic of Milan. These positions do not prevent him from continuing to design successful products.
